Hey Bartender

Hey Bartender!!! Can I have another beer please?  A Coors Light will be fine for a light weight such as me!! Oh how I wish I could have been at this pub the day Our Moz  was there. I can't imagine having a conversation with Morrissey. We probably have very little in common, he is so far above me intellectually.

                                                                           Bartender

Tonight was my last hockey game of this season, hooray.  Time for tennis!! Warm weather. I actually had a great game, I scored 5 goals. So yes, bartender, I will have a Coors Light, please.
                                            Maybe we'll leave come springtime
                                            Meanwhile have another beer

Straw spun from gold, she craves a tortured soul.

Refusal

How pathetic is it that I awoke very early this morning worried about whether The Smiths would reform. I have all kind of problems, yet this was something that wouldn't allow me to go back to sleep.  Sleep is one of my favorite things and it irritates me greatly when it is interrupted.

Morrissey has said repeatedly said The Smiths would never reform and to please quit asking about it.
It seems there are some indications that there had been some talk of possibilities of this happening.
It certainly is not my business what Morrissey does or does not do. He is an icon and a wonderful lyricist and singer.  One of the reasons I have so respected him, is his refusal to reform The Smiths.
They were a time and a place and certainly revolutionary. They influenced a generation in the awful England of Margaret Thatcher. The Smiths music will always live on in my heart.

That was then but this is now. Yes, an awful cliche but so very true.  I have never been attracted to bands from the past reforming. The Smiths were magic in the 1980's. Can you create magic moments from 30 years ago or should they be left where they were? It seems many bands reform to make a big cash grab from people's nostalgia. I personally think the past should be left where it is, the past. Morrissey's solo career has been and will continue to be fabulous. I believe he will get a new recording contract and resume touring. I look forward to an exciting future for him.

                                                               Magic Moments?

Morrissey shall do what he does and no matter what he does I will always love and admire him. His songs and lyrics mean more to me than I can put in words. There are so few people in this world with integrity and so few that one can believe in. Morrissey is someone I can respect, whether I agree or disagree because he is not a phony and has integrity and intelligence. I repeat, that was then but this is now.

A Wonderful World

                                                       What A Wonderful World

I hate this fucking world.  On the the 49th anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination, there was a horrid chemical attack in Idlib, Syria that has killed scores of innocent people and many children. When will it end? What the fuck is wrong with this world?
